Emma Update

a little late...but

Emma is 17 months old!

This past month she...

• can say "shoes", "off", "go go go", "no", "yes", "car", "bug", "hat", "armpit"
• can sign shoes, socks, bath time, frog, horse, bear, yes, no, outside, car, flowers, dirty, fish, wash hands, soap, clean, nice, share...and more.
• knows where her hair, armpits, knees and booty are
• still a sleepyhead

• we got to visit with Papa and Gigi this last weekend

Can't wait until we get to move home and see everyone every week

• Emma got to see snow for the first time this month. It didn't stick and it was dark outside...but it still counts  :)

see you can't even tell it was snowing...David didn't even put a coat on. Just take my word for it...snow did happen.

• favorite food: strawberries and goldfish.
• this months favorites...

 and listening to tunes

 and finding flowers

 and being embarrassed by Momma

 and being a cutie

 and pulling out her ponytails with the "try and stop me" look

and chalk =)

Everyday is something new

so Facebook won't hate me

Today Emma wanted to wear the tutu...and because of my infatuation with my daughter I have taken WAY too many pictures of her this morning. So that I do not flood Facebook with them...here are a few. Enjoy

Emma Update

EmmaLee the 16 month old.

 

 

She...

• can say "fish", "dance, dance", "nana", "grandma", "papa", kind of "Gigi", "Koko", "Ca-dance", "banana", "signing time" (usually with the sign for baby), "up" (emphasis on the 'p' sound), "eat", "what is THAT?",
• can sign way too many things to name now. *Thanks Erin and BST
•  knows where her teeth, cheeks, knees and hair are. All can still be confused with ears. And she now thinks shoving things in her belly button is the thing to do...I hope this phase goes by quickly.
• still sleeping like a champ. 12 hour nights and a 2-2 and a half hour nap in the afternoon.

she needs her beauty sleep :)

• we got to see Nana and Aunt Kristen (Koko) at the beginning of this past month

Nana taught her how to work an iphone

• And Erin came to visit at the end of this month.

Erin taught her how to work an ipad

• lots of play time with Connor this month. They chase each other, Emma takes toys away from him, Emma pushes him over, Emma drags him places....Emma beats him up....but she has also started wanting to feed him bottles and love on him like he is one of her baby dolls. He has also started to walk...this next month should be interesting.



• favorite food: Sonic ocean water and tator tots :) 
• favorite things to do this month are painting (finally, but mainly with brushes...she does not like to be dirty...)

•  this month we have also been creating the epic ponytail...

 We love our big kid cups with the epic top that make it easier to not spill everything on all over the floor

we love Momma

 and temper tantrums

 and reading

 and big teddy

 and discovering new ways to do things

and of course being fabulous
