Emma Update

Oh the little lady is now...

a year and a half year old.

She...

• can say 30+ words in English (billions more in baby garble)
• can sign 50+ words (we counted them this weekend for her well baby appointment)
• starting to put multiple words together beyond byebye, go go, night night. It's more up please, oh yeeeeah and bad dog...

• she likes to wear my shoes and really just shoes in general. Poor David. 16 year old Emma is going to be expensive.

•  She has of course been having a blast with Connor this past month. And yesterday we got to watch a new little baby.

• Favorite food: still Ranch and chocolate ice cream

• Favorite toys: chalk, mirrors, and baseball =)

Everyday is something new 





Demon child.

So. EmmaLee has been learning how to "vroooom" when playing with her trucks and cars. The cars and trucks she wants to play with instead of her dolls. Oh tomboy tendencies. Its okay...she still lets me put bows in her hair. And dump trucks ARE more fun to play with. sigh.

 

Anyway.

 

Today, she was playing with her little people school bus. She had crammed all of her little people inside and was driving them all over the play room. But instead of saying "vroooom" she was high pitched screaming until they crashed into the wall and all the little people fell out.

 

we watch too much TV.

 

 

and...just for giggles.

 

Emma Update

a little late...but

Emma is 17 months old!

This past month she...

• can say "shoes", "off", "go go go", "no", "yes", "car", "bug", "hat", "armpit"
• can sign shoes, socks, bath time, frog, horse, bear, yes, no, outside, car, flowers, dirty, fish, wash hands, soap, clean, nice, share...and more.
• knows where her hair, armpits, knees and booty are
• still a sleepyhead

• we got to visit with Papa and Gigi this last weekend

Can't wait until we get to move home and see everyone every week

• Emma got to see snow for the first time this month. It didn't stick and it was dark outside...but it still counts  :)

see you can't even tell it was snowing...David didn't even put a coat on. Just take my word for it...snow did happen.

• favorite food: strawberries and goldfish.
